In this workshop we will give you a short introduction of the path of yoga;with some insight of why and how Yoga works. What happens in a yoga class whenwe experience the unification of the Body, Mind and Spirit (all of your being). Together, we will practice a simple yoga asana sequence with breathing,meditation and relaxation.
Remember that life is yoga; a sequence of moments called NOW. Yoga means living a harmonious, unified, balanced life where consciousness is free fromattachment with the body and unified with soul and the Universe.
In this workshop you learn how everything we do in day to day life, is the practice of yoga. The asana can be the start of planting the seed of yoga. Ourpractice and our goals is an attempt to make this body- mind system fit in away that helps it to grow into a full, blossoming yoga-tree which gives delicious fruits of Harmony, Bliss and Unity.
You will learn:
~To design a 30-60min daily home practice that includes asana, prananayama, meditation and relaxation, and visualization for vitality, wellness and peace!
~How proper yoga posture touches different aspects of our being
~ How the Wisdom of yoga can empower and integrate different aspects of life
~ How to make a life style change considering " Life is Yoga"; every movement and moment is yoga
~ Free your mind (Consciousness) from Ignorance and unite it to your Soul
This workshop is open to students of all levels, teachers, and those considering taking the 200hr Integral Awakening Yoga course to become a yoga teacher or deepen their study of yoga.
