What is yoga and how do I begin? In this workshop you will learn:
• history and philosophy of yoga
• breath awareness & proper breathing
• various yoga postures.
The postures will be taught with a focus on proper alignment so that not only will you gain an understanding of how to move into poses safely, but to optimize the benefits of each pose.
Come tap into the innate wisdom of the body to self heal. Bring balance to the body & mind, reduce stress, increase strength & flexibility, improve range of motion and promote better sleep and overall health.
